Living with an invisible disability can be a daily exercise in patience, resilience, and advocacy. Having an invisible disability often means facing daily challenges that others can’t see or understand. Conditions like chronic pain, mental illness, or autoimmune disorders may not be visible, but they deeply affect our lives. Worse, these issues can be met with skepticism. And we are forced to justify our needs, or even denied accommodations. The lack of awareness can lead to isolation and stigma – even from loved ones. Due to this frustration and judgment, we’re here to offer strength in community while continuing to advocate for understanding, inclusion, and equal treatment.
